Costa is a veteran journalist who has shaped Zambia’s media industry for 21 years and counting. Born in the Copperbelt region, Costa built his journalism career on sheer dedication and a drive for positive societal change. His early experiences paved the way for him to become one of Zambia’s most respected and impactful media figures to date.

Costa’s journey into journalism began in 2003 at Evelyn Hone College in Lusaka, where he pursued a Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations. Even as a student, his potential stood out. He quickly took on the role of Trainer/Mentor for Z KIDS NEWS at Muvi TV, mentoring aspiring journalists and refining his own skills.

After graduating in 2006, Costa’s hard work led to his promotion as Managing Editor for News, Business, and Current Affairs at Muvi TV. He was responsible for building the department from scratch. Over four years, he established a news division that set new standards for quality journalism in Zambia. His leadership solidified Muvi TV’s reputation as an influential media platform.
